Matt has had to take up fencing in the past year. Unfortunately, it's not the sword-wielding kind. That might be a bit more exciting. It's very, very windy here in Clinton, which wouldn't be quite so bad other than that the darned wind keeps blowing down sections of our fence. Now, our fence does happen to be old and yucky and the posts are pretty rotten, but still. In late October/early November, two sections blew down. Right after that, winter set in and we weren't able to repair it right away. All winter we've been asked regularly, "Did you know your fence is down?" or "When are you going to fix your fence?"
Saturday was so nice out (finally) so Matt and our neighbor (who has been wonderful to help us each time) got the post set. Of course, the cement has to dry for a day or two, but Matt works so won't be able to finish it until this next Saturday. In the mean time, you may have noticed that there has been major wind. Therefore, we have another two sections now down. I'm sure the woman behind us who is trying to sell her house is so pleased to have us as neighbors!
