Matt's birthday was fairly uneventful, mostly because I (wisely) decided to fore go the Marilyn Monroe performance, though I'm pretty sure I could have pulled it off quite successfully, don't you think? Matt took the day off and it was nice having him around. Kales and I gave him his presents first thing. Later that night, we went to Famous Dave's for dinner. Garrett had made a bunch of treats for his foods class the night before, so Matt opted to not have a birthday cake. Instead, we had ice cream and some of Garrett's brownies, complete with candles, and sang to him.
